We are very excited to be bringing the first LGBTQ+ Pride Parade and Festival to Elgin, Illinois! Many surrounding suburbs have been doing Pride festivals with great success and thousands in attendance. Festival plans were initially started in 2019 and unfortunately had to be repeatedly postponed due to COVID-19, but we are back stronger than ever in 2023, and we hope you’ll join us for a fantastic community celebration! We are planning a PRIDE Parade and Festival to take place on June 3rd from 11am-4pm, as well as a weekend packed with events celebrating our LGBTQIA+ community! June 3rd’s events will include a family-friendly LGBTQ+ PRIDE parade followed by a festival with a vendor marketplace, live music, and more! The parade will be in downtown Elgin, and the festival and vendor marketplace will be held in Festival Park.
All of the festivities for the Elgin Pride Parade and Festival will be located in Downtown Elgin, within walking distance of the Milwaukee District West (MD-W) Metra line and the Elgin Transportation Center for PACE buses. They are also accessible by bicycle via the Fox River Trail and bike lanes on both Chicago St & Highland Ave.
By highway, it is within a few minutes of the 31S exit on I-90. See website for Map
