Advancing Contraceptive Equity

Illinois is a leader in advancing progressive reproductive health policies and rights. While defending abortion access has rightly been our immediate priority following the overturning of Roe vs. Wade, we must also realize that access to patient-centered contraceptive care across the lifespan is fundamental to reproductive autonomy.

Join Illinois Contraceptive Access Now (ICAN!) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Monday, November 13th from 2-3:30pm for a convening of policy makers, providers, payers, patients, and community partners to hear from HHS national leadership and key Illinois stakeholders including:

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how they can support every Illinoisans’ right to high-quality contraceptive care, including by connecting 1.2 million newly eligible Illinoisans to expanded Medicaid for family planning and related services under the HFS Family Planning Program.
